The connection
The Oral-B Genius 9000 Rose Gold brush is connected to a smartphone app available for Android and iOS operating systems. It communicates via Bluetooth. The first time you use the brush, you must pair your phone with the brush. Then, your phone will automatically recognize your brush, once you activate its Bluetooth function.
The brush is equipped with sensors that are able to verify that you are brushing each part of each tooth. You can then check on your application that each area has been treated.
You can follow your brushing time in real time. The brush is programmed to run for two minutes. Between each thirty-second range, a break in the vibration tells you that it is time to change zones: inner and outer face, lower and upper jaw.
A pressure sensor tells you in real time when you are pressing too hard on the brush, turning on the smartring and slowing down the brushing speed. You can check on your application if you manage to correct yourself, as you use it.
