Oral-B TEEN Black rechargeable electric toothbrush : presentation

Updated: November 1, 2022

It is crucial to brush your teeth well at any age. Oral-B, which has established itself as the leader in electric toothbrushes using oscillating technology, is adapting its products to different age groups. Nutrident presents today its model reserved for teenagers : the Oral-B Teen electric toothbrush.

A toothbrush for teenagers ?

The Oral-B Teen electric toothbrush is labeled ” for teens “, but it is technically similar in every way to the same category of toothbrush for adults. The only thing that changes is its decoration. Indeed, its handle offers a little peculiar patterns, between zebra and tribal signs, black and gray. This model of brush also exists in white, with grey patterns.

Teenagers' mouths are comparable to those of adults and do not require special features, unlike children's brushes, which must be lighter, with a thinner head.

The advantage of this brush is its price defying all competition for a connected electric toothbrush. So you can buy it for teenagers and adults in the family, you will have a sophisticated brush at a very attractive cost.

Features of the Oral-B Teen electric toothbrush

The Oral-B Teen electric toothbrush has all the essential features. It offers three brushing modes : standard, gentle or white.

Brush compatibility

Oral-B Teen comes with two brushes. You can then buy the models of your choice to replace them, as they are all compatible.

As with a manual toothbrush, always choose brushes with soft bristles that won't damage your teeth or gums. You can find specific brushes for people with braces and other orthodontic appliances.

The timer

The built-in timer allows you to brush for exactly two minutes. Every thirty seconds, a change of pace tells you to move to the next quarter of your teeth.

After two minutes, another change of pace will alert you that brushing is complete. It is up to you to stop the brush that does not do this automatically, in case you want to return to a particular area.

The pressure sensor

Another very interesting tool is the pressure sensor. Too much pressure on the brush can damage teeth and/or gums. If necessary, a red light will come on the handle to advise you to release the pressure.

If you like to walk around while brushing your teeth, rather than standing in front of the mirror, you will still see the red light coming into your field of vision.

The battery

The extremely powerful lithium-ion battery allows it to last more than two weeks.

The connection

The brush can be linked via Bluetooth to a free app, available for Windows and Apple. Once the brush is connected to your smartphone, you can track your brushing live and follow your history to make sure you're brushing every area of your teeth just as effectively.
