The design of the Oral-B Junior 6+ brush is essentially the same as the adult model, it is only slightly thinner. This is the only criticism that can be made of this brush. Indeed, it is supposed to be intended for children from 6 years old, but it is better to wait a little more, because the brush is a little heavy for a very young child.

The ergonomics of its handle is very well suited to children from 8 years old who will have a good grip on it and will not have any problem with its weight. The wide base of the brush is stable on the edge of the sink, so it doesn't need to be placed on its battery charging cradle all the time.

You can choose between two bright and cheerful colors: purple and apple green.

The on/off button is well located on the handle, under the thumb location. Further down, the battery charge indicator lets you know when it's time to recharge.

The brush

The brush is the same size as the standard brush, so it is suitable for adults. This is another reason why it's best to wait until your child's mouth is sufficiently developed for the brush to fit in the back of their mouth.

For all children, you must use replacement brushes with bristles as soft and supple as the original Sensi Ultra-Thin. They do not damage the enamel and are soft on young gums.

The Oral-B Junior 6+ has only one brushing mode, the normal mode, which is suitable for everyone.

The timer

The Oral-B Junior 6+ brush has a built-in timer that guides your child through the two-minute brushing session. Every thirty seconds, a change in the rhythm of the brush indicates that it is time to change areas: front of teeth, back of teeth, lower jaw, upper jaw.

After 2 minutes, a sharper break in the rhythm indicates that brushing is over. The brush does not stop automatically, so you can continue brushing if an area needs it. Just press the button to stop it at any time.

The battery

The Oral-B Junior 6+ electric toothbrush comes with a base that plugs into the mains to recharge. The battery is guaranteed to last for 10 days, at a rate of 2 brushings per day.
